george
I sure would appreciate comments and suggestions on my portfolio site. Thanks
chibineku
I am not wild about the design, to be perfectly honest. While I don't mind hovering over the links to get the new content, it is a bit strange at first. One page loads too much content but scrollbars don't appear to let me see the rest of it. Simple things would help make it sharper - add a border to the image holding the links to define it, for example. It feel barely styled, like you are just using the browser defualts for text and list styling.
george
Thank you chibineku for your honesty. I hope I get some more honest reviews. It is, infact, refreshing.
jeffman
I personally find the hover strategy very annoying. YMMV
thescientist
Without being overtly critical, it kinda feels like a powerpoint presentation on the web. The thing that bothers me the most about the hover effect is that if you find the page you want to be on, you have to move your mouse away while on the same line as the link. if you accidently cross over above or below it, it changes. Could be kind of fiddlesome for some users. Or they just have to learn to keep there cursor on the far left or right edges of the links, I suppose. george
Well, that's three votes against the hover effect. I have learned something here. Back to the drawing board with me.
