Sniffy
Hey everyone, I finally found a place where you can get a free domain......Actually 3 for free.http://www.dot.tkHow to set it up.Basically what you have to do is when you choose your domain name it will ask you for the exact location of your site, you have to have a host already like http://www.freewebs.com or something, then it will create an Iframe of your site but you now own that domain name and it's much easier for people to find your site, but you can also get to it by freewebs.com/your_site or what ever. Jonas
Yeah, I used to have an account there, but that was when they only had a popup-ad which was captured by my popup-blocker. Now that they have a splash screen of sorts (15 seconds until redirect), I don't like to use it anymore.
Sniffy
Yeah, I find that kind of annoying too, but what can you expect from free stuff, there's always a catch.
Jonas
Yeah, that's just it. And so I at least prefer subdomains over ad-displaying sites. For example:yourname.domain.com
Nudua
That .tk thing doesn`t work on all computers. When I tried my friends .tk it just showed a white page with nothing. Ì`ve heard other people who have the same thing.

Zaithe
To be honest, I like .cjb.net more because .tk never works for me. =/
Brendon Branigin
Im giving a +thumb to cjb.net. When i was using them (a year ago) the only form of advertising on my site was a thin 15px high 100% wide area at the top of the page.
