ProblemHelpPlease
I have an error in the server log that keeps appearing and I don't know why.[Wed Feb 23 21:45:12 2011] [error] [client 93.186.23.237] File does not exist: /home/sites/domain.co.uk/public_html/somestuffI am using mod_rewrite for this url and it works ok, it only seems to be some IP addresses that have the problem (maybe robots). Can robots check for the existence of a directory?Anyone know why this might be happening? ProblemHelpPlease
UPDATE: Having checked the IP addresses for the failed mod_rewrite against whois details it appears that it is access from a Blackberry that is the problem. We don't have any specific code related to Blackberries.Does anyone know of an issue with mod_rewrite and Blackberry or is this just likely to be a coincidence? justsomeguy
There might be rules in the htaccess files that check for various browser properties.
