chand.sethi77 Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 I had Xampp and when i typed http://localhost my index page in folder htdocs opened and after that i installed IIS for using asp. Now when i open localhost, the index page of wwwroot folder opens. Is there any way that i use both separately. Like I have a different address similar to localhost or anything like that. justsomeguy Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 You can set up one or the other to listen on a different port. It's probably easier to set up Apache to do that. So, you could have IIS answer on http://localhost, and have Apache answer on http://localhost:8080, or something similar. The default port both servers use for HTTP is 80.
