I would like to create such a link that which have no link visible at the status bar when I hover the mouse over it, but should be a real link. If you can't understand my question then see the example:W3Schools ForumIn above example you can see http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/ at the status bar of your browser if you hover the mouse on W3Schools ForumIs this possible what am I saying?

One of the properties of a "real link" is that many browsers show the destination when it is hovered over. You can create a fake link using JavaScript to change the window.location property, but then it's not real any more.

I would be suspicious about clicking on a link that does not tell me where I am going. There is so much spamming and malicious activity pout there that I am getting paranoid. If on a site I am not familiar with, I always check the status bar before clicking on a link. If there is no status bar destination I DO NOT CLICK.So tell me, what is the purpose of hiding the destination?
