attila2452 Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 So im looking on practicing SQL and ive seen a few places say that you can use microsoft access, is this true? as well as are we able to practice without a server, like on our desktop?i really want to get into it but its just i dont want to connect to a server or FTP every time i update code because i know im going to be screwing up!!anyone else have any better ideas? birbal Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 you can install XAMPP or WAMP for windows LAMP for linux MAMP for macintosh. every pacakages includes mysql which is the most popular rdms in web developing.
