Twango Posted June 29, 2011 Share Posted June 29, 2011 Hey guys, I've got a fairly big task here.I own an EXTREMELY short URL, (http://www.xxD.in) which is already used for a URL shortener.SO, since it's the same length as some ccTLDs (*.com.uk, *.com.am etc) I'd really like to let my users sign up for custom domains!So, I'm not exactly sure how to do the nameserver part, or really even the redirecting (yeah...)What I do know how to do, is let the users sign up for the domains (yeah...)So, I've tried mod_rewrite, with nothing at all working.No clue how to do the nameservers.The first person who ACTUALLY is helpful, meaning gives me working code, gets a TWO character domain once I get it working.Sorry for the super-long post guys.Thanks.~Twango Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
justsomeguy Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Do you own your own nameserver? If not, do you have access to update the records on the nameserver programmatically?
