jeffman Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 It probably uses multiple images. The "cut" area belongs to one image or another, probably the top of the phone. The efficient thing would be to make the "Company Name" section out of HTML, and its background-color (and the outside border) will be the same color that is used in the "cut" area. A perfect match there is essential, so choosing a file format for that image, and a compression technique, must be done carefully. But the "Company Name" section could also be an image (or even part of the phone-top image). That would make it easier to match the background colors, at maybe the cost of 1KB additional image data to download (not too bad). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
