tinfanide Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 As mentioned, where can I click in Flash to save a single actionscript file?
justsomeguy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 The Save As menu lets you choose .as as a type.
tinfanide Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 But in my Flash CS5.5 I don't see .as the file type in the list, only .fla (CS4 / CS5) or .xfl.
justsomeguy Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 You can't save a Flash movie as an Actionscript file. Actionscript files are just text, so you can open a text file and save it as an Actionscript file, or you can create a new Actionscript file. It doesn't make sense to save a FLA file as an Actionscript file.
tinfanide Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 I've found the place I can select.Flash -> New DocumentOn the menu there is a "Actionscript File" choice.
