Rough Divide
What is the most practical and portable-friendly way of posting a form to itself? Originally I was just using: <form action="" method="post"> Though recently when I validated my code, I got this error from W3: " Bad value for attribute action on element form: Must be non-empty." I would guess using <?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];?> , but I've read that it isn't safe to use for some reason or another, especially in forms. Can anybody elaborate on that too? Don E
Sometimes I use "#" <form action="#" method="post">
Rough Divide
That seems to have gotten rid of the validation error, and it looks like a solid place-holder. Is it proper usage though?
