Setting Up A Central Repository With Svn

Recommended Posts

I just installed SVN, but the tutorial i went through used a local repository. What is the easiest way to set up a central remote repository where other people access, given that I have server space? I feel like some of the other articles I Googled jumped ahead too many steps.

Chapser 6 in the SVN book has the "raw" stuff. Your options are basically an Apache module, and/or a special separate server called "svnserve".TortoiseSVN's support page links to some packages that are supposed to make the server installation and configuration easier by providing a GUI.
