quangthang2004
Dear All, I am new one in javascript, So my knowledge in JS is still ambiguous. I am wondering when will we use "unbind" and "undelegate" method? Although I know "unbind" and "undelegate" in order to remove the event binding on element. Thanks in Advance
thescientist
You are referring to these methods as part of the jQuery library, yes?http://api.jquery.com/unbind/http://api.jquery.com/undelegate/ They would be used as their descriptions imply, to remove event handlers from selected elements. Are you just asking for practical uses? I guess it depends on the context of the application, but it could be for things like content gating, form step management, any sort of site accessibility restrictions, I suppose. When you want to remove functionality from an element that might have it be default? Or to add/remove functionality on the fly in your applications.
