access to my index.html page

hi everyone, i have activated the IIS package for windows, and i putted my index.html file into wwwroot folder, and it works pretty fine when i tape http://localhost/index.html but it's not the case when i tape http:// (my ip adress) so other users can see my index.html page ; my IP address leads me to my modem setting page ( i have a Huawei SmartAX MT882a ADSL modem )any one can help please ? how can others see my webpage

You have to open the web server ports in order for other to be able to see your page. The default for apache is port 80, i assume it's the same for IIS. It shouldn't be hard to find it.

To clarify what TheGallery said, you need to go to your modem's settings, and "Port forward" port 80 to your private IP address. In order to be able to access your modem's settings, you should also move them to another port.If you aren't comfortable with adjusting your modem's settings, I advice you to get someone who is, as you could end up messing up your internet connection.
