davej
I always hated websites with frames, and I thought that the usage of frames was dying out, but I keep seeing people using them. What is the story? Are frames dead, despised, and obsolete? Thanks.
ShadowMage
Yes, frames are deprecated in HTML 4 (Strict) and HTML 5 and should no longer be used.
Ingolme
The <iframe> element is not deprecated anymore in HTML 5 because it has uses in javascript.
davej
So I'm guessing that several iframes could be styled to look just like frames, but at least there would be <body></body> tags. http://www.w3schools.com/Html/html_iframe.asp
worrall
Without using Frames website data will be clustered. It looks ugly, So by using the framsets you can arrange the data what ever order you like, It is to see in a good manner and the user can understand them easily.
