Like lets say I have a video on my server and I want to make a thumbnail of the first frame (or even in the middle of the duration if possible), is there a way to do that?I've seen this on YouTube but I don't know how they do it.I don't need an upload script or anything just something to create a thumbnail from the video and scale it down to lets say no larger than 100x100 (proportional) and save it to a folder if possible.-Calvin Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You might be able to read all the file data into a string and use the data as input into imagecreatefromtruecolor like I did in the image resize script. I'm not sure what would happen though.
