beennn
How do sites like facebook retrieve your friends from your mailing services? Do they have permission from the service provider to access there databases or is there another way of obtaining them? If someone could explain how this works id really appreciate it
Ingolme
It's a very secure system. The companies must have an agreement. If just anybody could do it, then bad companies would use it to steal user information.
justsomeguy
If you give Facebook the password for your email account, then they can log in and either check an address book or go through messages to collect the email addresses of people in your account. Guest So Called
I'm trying to figure out why anybody in their right mind would give FB their email password.
TheGallery
For the same reason they are using the same log in details in every website. They don't care about privacy.
