divinedesigns1 Posted June 10, 2012 Share Posted June 10, 2012 is it possible to have 2 images in the body, one positioning top and center whiles the second one position bottom and center or would i have to go along with my plan and do the body image top and center and then have a id with a footer or the footer tag "either one" with the image center bottom something like this /* The images does not exist at the moment */body {background-image: url(../images/topo.jpg) top center repeat-x;}footer {background-image: url(../images/lopo.jpg) bottom center repeat-x;}footer #footer {width:1024px;margin:0 auto;} if i can use 2 images on body how could i go about doing so, i dont think its possible "i dont think its possible that it would work the way i want it to work, that is" so im asking 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dsonesuk Posted June 10, 2012 Share Posted June 10, 2012 modern browsers can use multiple images in one element using css3 http://w3schools.com/css3/css3_backgrounds.asp, for older browsers you would have create a element that would be fully match the height and width of body and place second image within that.
