how do I get FLV into MP4 container?

I want to know how to do a proper fallback for html5 <video> I understand if I can cram a FLV into a MP4 container that I should be able to use it as a fallback for IE 8 and 7. I used super C to create a mp4 container with FLV in it but it gives me a "invalid sample description message" when I try to run it.

Honestly I would use just use JW Player http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/ its open source and will make your life ALOT easier. No I am not advertising it has just never let me down.
