HTML 5 Issue in IE-8

I have an HTML5 site built and i have used aside for my left content block but the think is in IE-8, when i compress the browser my left content block is fixed and the content inside is coming out of the block. content is all disturbed. In other browsers like IE-9. FF its working fine. i have also used the following script for IE:-<!--[if lt IE 9]><script src="js/html5.js"></script><link rel="stylesheet" href="css/ie-style.css" type="text/css"><![endif]--> Please suggest what can be done and what is the reason.

I think we neeeed just a little bit more than just showing a conditional IE comment and links to js, css files don't you! As all we can say is well everything looks prim and proper here, I can't possible think why you should be having any problems at all.
