Making firefox replay a Gif animation

Recommended Posts

That's odd. I haven't seen Firefox do that. Animated GIFs can either be made to loop endlessly or to stop after the first loop, but that depends on who made the GIF and not on the browser.

Thanks for the replies guys I have the animation set up to play just once 1 what happends is once the animation plays. if i refresh the browser or reuse the picture the animation doesnt play from the start anymore. It doesnt play at all just shows the last frame. Works fine in IE. i google it its a common issue with FF and chrome to I believe. only way i found around the problem is adding a token to the src bleh.gif?number which prevents caching from working
