Transparent back ground on a swf

I dont know what im doing wrong but i can't seem to make a swf have a transparent back ground im using a plug in called SWFObject and im changing the wmode to transparent and still its a white background.

Setting the wmode to transparent should work. It should be a property of the paramsObj object if you're using SWFObject. It's a parameter, not an attribute.{ wmode : "transparent" }

I believe the Flash movie itself also needs a transparent background for the stage.

ya that might be where im messing up at. Geez CS5 flash is so un userfriendly at first glanceI also have flash builder 4 that i havnt tried out yet maybe see what that is
