How to stop overlapping two images

hello everybody, I am trying to add an image on a login page but when the browsers viewport is resized the image gets overlapped. overlap.png

it's because of all the positioning you are using. It is not the standard practice for laying out a page. The best practice technique for that is floats, margins, and paddings. (i.e. the box model).http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_boxmodel.asp The best way to layout a page is to start from the beginning using this paradigm, allowing elements to flow/stack naturally as you define the page structure. Positioning everything typically only works for the current viewport you are developing (since that is your reference), but doesn't work so well when you start resizing the window, as that is the nature of its functionality. It should only be used for certain cases and conditions.
