Some scripting knowledge

I really want to learn PHP, I've wanted it for like 3 years and now I finally got a chance to do it. I reviewed what I knew of HTML and learned a bit more, and that is one thing I should know:

What You Should Already KnowBefore you continue you should have a basic understanding of the following:HTML / XHTML Some scripting knowledge

But what is the scripting knowledge? I checked almost every tutorial in the site, and there were metioned specific tutorials to use, so why isn't it so here? I asked some friends, who know a lot about computers, but none of them knew what I should learn... Can someone help me?

this is hilarios. ask yourself do I know javascript? do i understand how the script works? if you have some basic scripting knowledge than you have basic scripting knowledge you have to decide there is no get basic scripting knowledge here tutorial. If i were you id learn javascript first though

Here is the javascript tutorial and quizIn my opinion you don't need to know any JavaScript to begin learning PHP, as long as you know (x)html then you will be fine.

Definently, if you want to learn php go right ahead, html is the only pre requisite you will need.have fun

You can definately jump right in, but if you get to a point where you aren't understanding the concepts then you might need to start a little earlier.
