Most servers are configured so they only execute PHP if a file has a .php extension. You should be able to change this setting in a control panel somewhere. I do not recommend this. If your server has to read every .htm or .html file and look for PHP code every time, your server's performance will degrade.

you need php and apache server or packacge like wamp/xampp/lamp installed on your mahicne to execute php script

when i save it as php, server cannot read php language..any body can help me.

 

Is this a commercial web host? If so you might need to visit their support forums. You might also want to create and test a simple page like this...

If your server doesn't support PHP then you need to ask your host if they can enable it, or move to a different hosting package, or move to a different host. You can't run PHP on a server that doesn't support it.
