son
Hi there, I have build a website that relies on sessions to keep a language variable alive, so users can navigate through one language. I was told that on one day last week this did not work. Each time the user clicked onto different link in navigation it reverted back to default language. I just tested session variable and it works fine. What could be a reason that this does temporarily not work? Does not really make sense to me... Don Jajo
Hi, Sessions can't work if the clientside doesn't want it to work by disabling their cookies So since it works normally and later on messes up which may be because the clientside has no cookie enabled browser
son
Apparently cookies are enabled and this is should not be the issue. What about iPhone? Are there any current issues known with iPhone Safari? This is the device where the issue occurs. Whilst before it apparently worked sometimes and then not, it looks now like it might be a permanent issue with the device/browser. Thanks, Son
thescientist
is the issue with iOS? Can you get / borrow that device to try and reproduce?
