Cross browser testing

There is no single test to check how your code behaves in all browsers and all versions of browsers,

 

However, this link will ID most of the problems that browsers might have with your code:

There will usually be something that doesn't work quite right or possibly not at all especially on older browser versions and as your code ages, even after validation.

Manually. I have virtual machines to test IE on OSX, and test using devices when available (iOS, Android). Typically the first step is establishing which browsers and devices are expected, and determining how much effort it is to support older browsers / devices versus the time spent developing for them.
