Need help for html Exercises

I'm learning since a few weeks html and everything was working fine but had to re-install my whole laptop due "harddisk death".

The "Try it yourself" buttons and its content are working and displaying alright, but if I try to do one of the exercises the content is displayed wrong and I'm only able to write inside the text field or to push the "Hint" button. Button "Check your code" and "Show Answer" aren't working anymore. Also there is a part of a html code shown at the top of my screen.

Is this a problem on my side because of a missing program or could there be another problem behind?

Please help me out.

w3school runs with in your Browser. What Browser are you using? Down load and use a different Browser like Chrome if that,s the one you are not using.

Do you have any addons for browser that will cause exercise to fail, disable them then try it.
