Reduce Spacing Between Two Horizontal Lines

I have text in small size font size between two horizontal lines. I find the spacing is rather too wide. How do I reduce the spacing?

Once you have found editor.css or created your own custom-editor.css insertp + hr {margin-top:-1.5em;}/* previous topic solution */hr + p {margin-top:-0.8em;}/*guessinng here*/Any hr directly following a paragraph is brought up closer, and same in reverse in second.

I am doing this only for specific blog posts. Not for all posts. How do I go about it?

That is not correct semantic valid html code, i can't give you a correct answer

You should try to use paragraphs instead of br tags, span should be ideally within paragraph, when done this the css will work, as it is now using the br tag its difficult to apply stying.
