MARCELO
Hi. I have some questions about this form: https://www.w3schools.com/code/tryit.asp?filename=FQA46KLX03YD 1- Why the outlook in my pc opens when i want to send the email? it doesn t happen when i am in a website, and thats not my intention here. 2- Shouldn t i add information about recipient in this form too so it can be in fact sent to an email? 3- I ve read about self/blank, get/post and enctype, but could not find how to have only this message being shown when submitting the message: THANKS! WE VE RECEIVED YOUR EMAIL! How can i do it? Thanks.
dsonesuk
That is because you are using mailto: within the action attribute, anyone submitting this form, will have their default email program open up.

dsonesuk
The other way is to send the form inputs to a php script, that will gather the data submitted by the form, then process the data to use in php email function mail() https://www.w3schools.com/php/func_mail_mail.asp Edited April 12, 2018 by dsonesuk
