Guest Zaradar
I was searching for a way to date stamp my xslt transformations and after some searching via our good friend "google" I ended up finding a nice listing of the XSLT 2.0 functions on this site. However there seams to be little support for it in the MSXML.NET parser, as any attempt to utilize it in my .NET application prompts a XmlTransformationException indicating that the namespace http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions does not exist?!?Has anyone experienced similar issues? or is this simply because vers. 2.0 is not a "standard" yet and therefore the parser consideres it to be an invalid resource? boen_robot
Yes. Absolutely correct. It's not a standard and therefore it's not supported yet. If you're going to be using ASP to parse XSLTs, you could look for another XSLT 2.0 aware processor. The most famous I know of is Saxon. I don't know the installation drill though. You're on your own there .
