Charge users with paypal

I am inquiring about the process to charge users money through a website. This could be an upcoming contract. I heard with php you hold the customer info then you send it to paypal and then paypal sends you a code that the payment was successful or not and you confirm that to the user.Could I get more details on this procedure?Thanks guys!

I could possibly figure that out... It's all provided by paypal?

this is it which makes the paypal payment module. there are other files associated with it but this is the main one, which you say is avialable through paypal.

Can you tell me the steps when a user wants to buy an item? (enters cc info on your site or paypal, shipping address... all that stuff)

i will tell you in short:1. Register2. Add Product3. Checkout i.e. the shipping pageoptional: different shipping address4. payment page5. confirmation//if paypal another step6. paypal site7. make paymenti dont know what happens next, register for a paypal sandbox account to test how payments are made inside paypal.thanks

It is very very easy. Just follow the instructions of paypal. They will send u the code and u add it to your web site. I have no notions of java script or php and managed it very well. Its up and working on my site (unfortunatly no one (besides myself) have tried it out yet!!) Paypalgo to Merchant tools
