Query -- how to find a specific row AFTER finding a range of rows

I am trying to find a specific row in a table, but i am limited to only searching a small set of data (rather than searching the entire table). So i was thinking about searching where 'date' is between 'date1' and 'date2.' But then I am not sure how to also search for a specific row. For example, I want to get the row that contains order number= 456.

Use this :

select * from ds-orders where ordernumber = 456 and Date between '2011/02/25' and '2011/02/27';
