aspnetguy Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 Apache is good.Are you going to use it to host live websites or just for home use?If you are going to use it just in your home then you can use PWS (builtin win98) or IIS5(winXP) but if you need live access then you will have ot go with apache becuase unless you buy winserver then you are limited to only 10 cuncurrent users with winxp and win98, plus win98 is not secure enought o use as a live webserverYou could always install Linux to run as a webserver...Ubuntu 6 looks good.
