Guest jcz Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 hi, tried to start the html tutor program. got to the part where i have to save my first title page and text edit does nae allow me to save as "htm." had to go for "rtf" or "htm.rtf." doesn't seem right. i know, get a pc! but other than that, can anyone help me out? Paim Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 If you still type "something.html" and it saves it as "something.html.rtf" then put quotes around it when you're saving it, just like above. Jack McKalling Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 You have to select "Save as type:" or something similar in English.But you must not save it with rich text editors anyway because they handle their own formatting "language". And that causes some serious damages to the pages you make with them.Use Notepad instead, and save as "All: *.*", below the filename field.
