Guest markezuma
Hi my name is Mark but I go by markezuma on the web. I just finished the HTML tutorial and learned a lot. I've been interested in web design for years and done a few pages for myself and others, but I wasn't sure where to get the skills to really work on them properly. W3schools is great and I plan to spend a lot more time here. Peace.

prog.infant
Hi, Although I do not consider myself a programming genius at all, I have managed to find myself working for a place that requires those skills. I took a course at school that got me through the basics of Visual Basic, Java, and HTML (where I already have studied on my own personal time). Where I work now requires me to learn more Java Scripting, SQL and HTML/XML. As my username suggests, I am a programming infant. I have far to grow. I'll likely be coming to this forum a lot to ask questions. Thanks, prog.infant

the-kid3210
Well besides being almost completely new to weblanguage (but still studying the great works of W3 in hopes to sharpen my skills), I'm just your average guy trying to make a business by starting on the plans and putting them on website form first (that way no one can actually edit my material). I'm somewhat decent in HTML, XHTML and CSS but so far I'm still studying JavaScript (I'm going in a bit of an awkward order) I enjoy the site but I am always out to know more and sometimes my questions can be a bit...simple.I just hope that I'm not too much of a bother on this site but since I haven't gotten any warnings yet, I'm sure I'm doing something right. With that being said, I hope to hear from the lot of people here and uh..that's it.

Reg Edit
Hello people! Just thought I'd introduce myself, after being here for a bit in 2006, and back again now for the past month or so. I work as an independent consultant in the UK, developing web and Windows software for clients using mainly MS technologies. Whenever I get the chance I like to lurk in the W3Schools forums to pick up new tricks and to help out where I can. Sadly there can be long periods when I'm not around due to work pressures, but I always enjoy returning here!

Ingolme
Hello! I'm Ingolme.Web programming (not as much designing) is one of my favourite hobbies. For years I've been learning from W3Schools, I went and checked out and understood basically all the tutorials there. These days I can do basically anything on a website, given (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP.I like following web standards, so rather than using methods like document.write(), properties like innerHTML or onclick type events I try to work around it with createElement(), appendChild() and addEventListener() (Though I try to make things crossbrowser and will apply attachEvent() for if the other method isn't available)Other hobbies of mine are drawing and videogames.I'm a big fan of Tails(), a videogame character. I hope somebody's familiar with him, though I don't know what interests a large part of the web developer community has.
