I don't wanna be rude or anything but I think you should create your own topic instead of hijacking one from someone else.I'm unable to view your site in firefox and IE 7. I only see the right nav.

I'm almost done with the design. I've added a breadcrumb underneath the navigation, England and France flags for English and French language and added xhtml and css valid images on the right of the footer navigation. It's xhtml 1.0 strict. Compatible with IE 7 and FF 2.0, I haven't tested in any other browsers yet. I'm probably going to add a hover effect over the 3 navigation buttons.I think my template is almost complete. Any ideas of what I could add to it to make it even better? I'm open to just about anything. Maybe some kind of functionality with JS or PHP... I'm still not sure about the welcome text, unless I make it an image with more art in it.

The deisgn... I can't really think of anything. Not before I see it in action anyway. As for coding... I think I can give you something on that, but again, it requres more then an image.

Check the Host and DNS Discussion here:http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=3770or this will get hijacked again. As for the design, I do like it, very clean and simple - great work.My only suggestion would be to make sure you utilize CSS Media Types in your style sheet. Many people will not be able to print a page out with that color combination - so keep that in mind.P.S. http://www.crystaltech.com

i must say that is an excellent site there. if i saw that portfolio i would most definately be interested with approaching you for web design..However theres something about the font type/size im not to sure about. Also a suggestion would be, maybe if you hovered over the websites on the left the image became lighter?i know i should really post in the host and DNS discussion but you will not find a cheaper host then:http://www.2wdhost.com/hosting/

Thanks ben. I agree! The font also looks weird... like it could look better but I'm limited to arial or verdana, the others are ugly. I thought about the changing the opacity on hover but opacities in css causes warnings when validating. I don't want any warnings or errors in my code. I guess I could always use a javascript to change images. Are you a client of 2wdhost.com? I'd prefer awdhost :)

Design's awesome.... i liked the previous font, it was kinda smooth.. ]Guess you alrady have some mouse hover effects in the top navigation...It would be better if you can move the W3C images to bottom next to copyright and even better if you can find smaller image, cos all the text in the website is small and these 2 image kinda look big there

I used these buttons instead http://www.bloggertalk.net/button_generator.htmlI've always wondered is there a way in Photoshop to reduce the size of an image, in this case the button, without being blurry (unreadable). Even if I just reduce it a bit it's blurry.

Here's an update. Changed the font to Trebuchet ms and if it's not available it goes to arial.vchrissampleox8.jpg Feedback?
Well, I think your news for december 2006 and january 2007 have a copyright on them... :)

The best you'll do is with "Save For Web..." try chaning the file type between gif, jpg, and png and see which is the lowest file size/best quality.

HINT:Go to the homepage, there is a form that actually allows you to define criteria fro the amount of text that you need. Its pretty cool stuff and always works out.

If you're messing with fonts, you might want to include the fonts that will ship with Vista. Calibri, in particular. You can download and install them and see for yourself. I changed both Firefox and Opera at home to use Calibri by default, it looks good on the web.http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=...amp;btnG=Search

thats looking really good. Its a nice change to see someone here posting a template where they obviously put some effort in to choosing fonts & didnt just go with the default Times Roman. I like the colors too :)
