IE 7 settings

I'm just starting to study the Ajax tutorial and the sample on your site works but when I create the three files clienthint.html,clienthint.js and gethint.asp and put them in the same directory where I have a virtual directory pointing, it gives an error on the page. Also errors out if I run from the file location in the url. Says an object was expected. I suspect I've got too restrictive settings on my IE explorer. Please offer suggestions.Bob M

My virtual directory was pointing to a directory where the directory name had a space in it. I created a new virtual directory, copied the files there and it worked fine. Bob M
