reportingsjr
That should be fine, im using a windows 2000 server. 20.5 gb on 2 slave hard drives and 40 gb on a master drive. Try Ubuntu, very nice feel, very easy to install things. There is a program called synaptic package managaer, it has about 1000 different programs you can download on it. After about 20 minutes I had Mysql and Php5, mysql isnt working though.

I've been reading some forums and some say that it's still not compatible with a lot of hardware and there is some bugs.

justsomeguy
Also I am trying to compile a list of all operating systems available if anyone can list any I have not included it would be appreciatedWow. Well, in that case, you left out several hundred. There are a ton of proprietary, embedded, mainframe, etc OSs out there such as Windows Mobile. And, several hundred Linux distributions. Also, several versions of Unix and BSD-based distributions like System V, Sun Solaris and OpenBSD. Here are some links that may help:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_operating_systemshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Linux_distributionshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of...x_distributionshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of...erating_systemshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix-likehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of...erating_systemshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operating_systems_timelineAnd, you can't forget about Hollywood OS:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_operating_systemAlso, why did you start your Windows list at 3.x. Are you assuming there was no Windows 1.0? Scroll to the bottom of that page for a list of Windows versions
