  1. First of all, sorry if this is an inappropriate place to post this thread but I don't really know a better place to post it. This isn't any full time job, more of a partnership. I'm sure for a skilled programmer this would be rather easy.. But I am not one, which is why I'm looking for help.I want someone who can program games, such as a coin flipping game, slot machine game and games like blackjack (although, I have a coin flipping and slot machine game coded, just not by me) and integrate them with the Steam/CS:GO API, allowing users to log in, send CS:GO skins/knives (which can be very valuable) to a bot and then play these games for the chance of winning a lot more skins/knives.If you aren't fully accustomed to the Steam/CS:GO API then there are official Steam API guides. I have a couple more things I would like added which I will discuss if you contact me.Email: csgoroulettebusiness@gmail.comPay: All profits 50/50, a payment at the end could be arranged but I am spending a lot of money on other things important for the website (advertising although it's rather low-key, domains since I'm thinking about switching to a different one, creating a stockpile of skins/knives so that I can actually have the games functioning and not have people spending skins on games with no chance of winning anything and there's more I need to pay for but I hope you understand I'm not just BSing or something). Some of the more popular websites out there already make a lot of money from doing this, so if we improve upon what they've done, add more features, games etc and add a better monetary system, then the pay should be quite a lot, that is if all games/elements are implemented. Why bother helping?: First of all, the domain is already paid for, but like I said, I might buy a new off someone who's selling it. Quite a lot of the website is finished but there's still quite a bit more to do. You get to sleep soundly tonight knowing that you've helped a fellow programmer create something he loves. And, well, all you have to do is do some programming and sit back and watch the money roll in. Might sound too good to be true and although there's quite a bit of programming involved, it really is as simple as that. The websites out there are either basic, scams or just very poor and I hope to change that. I have plenty of new and fresh ideas which would entice a lot of CS:GO gamers and possibly even streamers to my website. I also have a different way for the site to earn money which greatly benefits both the creators and the users. Thanks for reading,Joe
  2. Hello, I am new to the entire field of computer software development. I am currently a police officer who is undergoing college for a degree in computer science. I have taken a great deal of interest in html and javascript and find this language to be a wonderful language to know. With that being said I am a newb when it comes to correct methods. On my time off i have spent numerous upon numerous of hours coding a javascript, html, game. The game is the classic "Don't touch the walls with your mouse" style game with a better twist. I have spent numerous hours coding in the features and intros etc.... So i only have one level currently complete. Since i am new and cannot find any similar topics to my question i thought i would ask you. My game is not built on canvas. I built it straight on html pages and then jump website pages to different aspects of the game such as level1, level 2, game over, etc.... I know I am doing this all wrong and most or all of you would be like "Don't quit your day job, This is a mess get rid of it" I would kindly request some pointers to help point in the right directions as to "fix" this game setup before i continue or perhaps some pointers on what i should be doing instead. I cannot find any other game that page jumps like mine so i assume it should not be done. Linked below is the actual game i temporarily uploaded for your viewing pleasures. If you request code let me know and i will post whichever code you would like to see. Like i said i am new and just want to do this right if i am doing this wrong. Thanks Derek http://emeraldcreations.site90.com/

    Help with a game

Hello I know this has nothing to do with scripting but I don't know where to go.I've been playing a game on the playstation one I got from my dad, called "Thousand Arms" it's a pretty cool game, but I didn't know it required a disk two and my dad doesn't have it, and finding it us hard and not to mention expensive. I was wondering if I could burn the data onto a old different playstation game and do it that way. If you know of a better way please let me know.

    Help with my friends site?

Ok I was wondering if anyone would like to help me with my friend's website: http://madsplash.net It is a pretty good website considering one kid has done 99% of the work I help abit when I'm able, but it would be nice to have more crew members willing to help, and things like games could really spice it up, of course you'd get full credit for your work. But at this point we need people who can help out, I can't do much in the way of programming but I'm trying. If anyone is interested in helping out this site and making it better contact me at: dylan97powell@gmail.com , or go to the website which I posted a link above, and sign up and talk to our webmaster. If you look at it you will see that he has done a lot of work on it. The kid is 15yrs old and going through college he's like a little brother to me and I like to help him as much as possible, but I'm next to useless on this project of his. So please at least consider my request. Thank you for your time.

    HTML 5 Games

Hi, folks. I want to learn to develop HTML games. Could you guys point me some tutorials about this subject? By the way I have a concern: How does one protect the source code? One the games will use javascript and HTML I think that it's not possible. Am I right? Thanks.
