I created this lean and mean site: http://cristianopi.altervista.org/as/ If a visitor load any page other than index.html, the index is not loaded; I want that the index is always loaded. I can put a link to the index in each page, but is there a better way to do that?

Hi Everyone, My problem is that Internet explorer is not finding my homepage. This is because IE is going to www.mysite.com/index.html and my homepage is not there. When I use firefox everthing works fine because it just goes to www.mysite.com. My site is http://www.boom.com.mt and my worldpress Permalink Settings are set to Post Name. I searched the issue and apparently I need to do something with the .htaccess but I have no clue what to do. Here below am pasting the current .htaccess file. Your help is much appreciatedClif My .htaccess is: # Use PHP5.4 as defaultAddHandler application/x-httpd-php54 .php # BEGIN WordPress<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>RewriteEngine OnRewriteBase /RewriteRule ^index.php$ - [L]RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-fRewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-dRewriteRule . /index.php [L]</IfModule> # END WordPress

Hello everybody How're ya'll doing? I hope everybody is doing fine. So I'm a graphic designer. I design templates and stuff in Photoshop only. And I decided to take it to the next level and make it REAL! I made a theme for my Wordpress blog. I made Index.html and the CSS file. And when I open the Index.html here is what I see: or => http://i47.tinypic.com/23r47sk.png --------- and when I change the type to .php and install the whole theme to Wordpress .. I see my index like this: or => http://i46.tinypic.com/1zd11u0.png ---------- I took a look about the indexes and they all did it in the .php format. So I did mine in HTML .. how can I convert it / edit it to make it readable to the browser in .php format? I attached my .HTML file ( mixed with the CSS, so I don't have to attach both files. And I will not post the images .. just help me with the problem ) And the attacher didn't work ... so I uploaded ithttp://www.mediafire.com/?rytym8on334dfmz Thank you!
