ok, if you know why can't you just tell me instead of making me waste my time trawling through loads of articles on google?i've spent hours searching on there and found nothing that works, i looked on there before i asked here....i want a user to fill in a form and submit it, i want the data emailed to myself, and then the user be directed to a thank you page...sounds easy but no code i have found yet will do it!! It either send them to a new page without giving me the data or gives me the data and leaves them hanging....can somebody please help?

I'm having a "blank" moment....again!I have a form on my site, when the user clicks submit i want the data to go to me via email, then redirect user to a thank you page....possible? i cant seem to do it!!!

Can someone please explain why the DOCUTYPE tag keps disappearing from my pages???this is what im trying to enter:<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">it saves it, publishes fine, check back a couple of times and its still there, then all of a sudden *poof* disappeared!
Help me please oh brainy ones! lol -

Hi,total novice here, ive made a website, tried to validate it only to be told it has no DOCTYPE, i was redirected to a page to choose either frameset, transitional or strict HTML - how the heck do i know which one my site is? :sHELP!!!
