  1. Right! Happens that I just stumbled into a tut showing what you've pointed out: a div with an inline lightbox styling which gives me full control of it (plus some jQ control codes for the lightbox).

    Initial question was due to the W3Schools tut (çause I'm an 'early-learner', looking, searching everywhere ... ;-)).

    Thnx dsonesuk!

  2. Hello,

    I'm stuck with the following issue:

    On my homepage there exist a navigation bar; one of those nav-buttons opens another html page which consists of a plain text block and the (W3Schools-) code of embedding this map on this page.

    The plain text is displayed on the page but the map does not.

    I've tried both the examples (Standard call and Asynchronously Loading) to no avail ... .

    Below is the content of the separate html file being accesses by a nav-button on the homepage:

    <!DOCTYPE html><html><head><script src="http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js"></script><script>function initialize() { var mapProp = { center:new google.maps.LatLng(51.508742,-0.120850), zoom:5, mapTypeId:google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP }; var map=new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById("googleMap"),mapProp);}google.maps.event.addDomListener(window, 'load', initialize);</script></head><body>
    <div> ........ My Text Block ............ </div><div id="googleMap" style="width:500px;height:380px;"></div></body></html>
    Looks like 'get' and 'load' doesn't work for an own site ... (default target=_self)
    What do I need to add here in order to display the map?
    Thnx - liemstra.
