So apparently I had two very similar named css files. I was editing the wrong file. 

Hello, I'm having trouble contacting people so I thought maybe a simple general question would be more in my favor. I had a old account by the name laurent* but alas I inputted the password wrong too many times and got locked out. I thought the lock was temporary but I'm still locked out. I prefer my real name more. 

Is there a way to unlock this account or am I stuck with the account I have now forever?

No, I just tried using my class in isolation. The effects still weren't applied. 

I got a small problem. I downloaded the w3 css file and I want to add more to it to gain functionality it didn't have. What I'm trying to do is make an invisible button styled with css that become visible when you hover over it. I can't do this because it seem the styling I added doesn't get applied and is simply ignored.  I only added to the w3 css file and did not alter anything. Please help me add to the w3 css file so that I can make invisible buttons that become visible when you hover over them. 

It may not be much but the inverted color area is where I add my own class to the w3 css file.
