Hi everyone,

i recently made a small website for a friend so i could learn a little bit about html/css/javascript. I made it myself with Notepad, so no wordpress etc... Now i want to implement like a simple backend/CMS, so that my friend can upload pictures and text to the website without digging into the code or asking me to do it. After a lot of google searching i can't really find a starting point on how to do this. Would i have to program it all by myself? Or ist there some kind of software/framework, that can help me do this? I know i could just buy a wordpress theme etc. with an implemented backend, but then i couldn't use my own frontend right? If someone could give me a hint on what to search for on google, or maybe some links, that would be awesome!
