  1. It's pretty easy to make a timer in as3.eg:

    this.miutes=5;this.message="Boom!"button.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,clickcallback);function clickcallback(e:MouseEvent) {	var myTimer:Timer=new Timer(1000);	this.tim=ths.minutes*60;	myTimer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, timerHandler);	myTimer.start();}function timerHandler(event:TimerEvent):void {	this.tim--;	output.text=this.tim;	if (this.tim==0) {		output.text=this.message;	}}

  2. Write a javascript function.eg:

    <html><head><script>function flash(width,height,src){document.write("<object width="+width+" height="+height+">");document.write("<param name=movie value="+src+">");document.write("<embed src="+src+" width="+width+" height="+height+">");document.write("</embed>");document.write("</object>");}</script></head><body><script>flash(40,400,"ball.swf")</script></body></html>

  3. Why don't you just use javascript?

    <script language="javascript">function dwnld(a,b,c,d){window.open("http://www.analogstudios.net/music/losttime/"+a+" - "+b+c+d);}</script><a  onclick="dwnld('01','October',' ','Rain.mp3')")> October Rain</a>

  4. Hi, I have an account off a server (I don't own the server) and it's mysql enabled. Here's my code for connecting to the server:

    <?php$con = mysql_connect("server:port","username","password");if (!$con)  {  die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error());  }?>

    (When I refer to a generic title such as port or user name I'm right the proper one in my code but not here)Unfortunately I get a warning and die excecutes:Warning: mysql_connect(): Lost connection to MySQL server during query in (page location on server) on line2
