Yes, this because I'm just testing. And testing can be done best with the own local host. I guess it must be possible to create both, a download link which works with the local host and later extend it to the web host. Am I wrong?

How do I make a download link in ASP.NET like the HTML <a href="file://C:/WINDOWS/notepad.exe">Download</a> (This doesn't work there)?Thanks!
