https means the server is using a SSL certificate and all data passed on the web page is encrypted.

I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to get at pages behind a login for an https site. Any ideas/explanations/examples/references would be great.thanks, Rob

I'm new to web programming and I was looking for help understanding how https sites and their logins work in terms of the client/server communication.
