Zie
I am trying to apply a gradient to only a certain part of an image. The image has a green background which I do not want to have any effects applied to, and the data (coordinates loaded from mysql onto the picture) that create an "image." I want to apply a gradient to the data only. Is there a way to do this? And if so, how?A few acquaintances claim that you can, but will not tell me how. I am not sure this is possible, which is why I am asking here.

Zie
I've already looked all through there. I can make it apply effects, but it will do it to the whole image :\Thanks anyways.

boen_robot
There isn't any native function to make gradients... or so it seems.A search for "gradient PHP" leads me to this class for creating linear gradients:http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/package/1410.htmlThe link which mma_fighter123 gave is for radial gradients.
