I'll show 3 (4th is the worst) of them:1. Send your XHTML 1.1 web site as application/xml.2. Add <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> above the doctype.3. Use PHP/ASP/whatever to see if browser supports application/xhtml+xml and send the doctype and meta tag: if YES, XHTMl 1.1 as application/xhtml+xml if NO, XHTML 1.0 Strict as text/html.4.
