coryg05
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,I have searched this topic to no avail. I can't seem to find information that shows me how to link from a web page to a specific spot in a document. I want to put a flowchart for troubleshooting on a sharepoint page. When a user looks at the flowchart, he/she should be able to click any point on the flow chart. The spot he/she clicks will determine what page of the document it goes to. I know I could do this easily with multiple documents, but I would like to keep all the information in a single documents, but still have a "table of contents" type deal on the webpage, but in the form of a flow chart.Any ideas? Thanks!
thescientist
I'm not sure if I'm visually grasping the concept, but is something like this what you want?http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_links.aspSpecifically the part about using the name attribute to link to sections within a page? coryg05
I'm not sure if I'm visually grasping the concept, but is something like this what you want?http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_links.aspSpecifically the part about using the name attribute to link to sections within a page?Yeah , Kind of. I was able to find that ( Yes, I did do a search ) but as far as i can tell, anchors and all that, are only applicable for web to web links. So, lets say there is a document attached to a sharepoint page. the only thing you see on the page is a flowchart and a document available. I want someone to be able to click a picture, then the document opens in word or pdf to a specific page. Thanks for your reply!
